retroactive permit application for the emergency replacement of two (2) existing 100-gallon commercial water heaters serving the apartment building. At the time of the original service call the existing water heaters were actively leaking and the building had been without hot water for approximately seven business days. Due to the active leaks and lack of domestic hot water to the building the condition was classified as an emergency and replacement work proceeded immediately. Magic Plumbing ATX sourced and replaced both existing 100-gallon water heaters and replaced/repaired associated damaged piping and components within the mechanical room as required to complete the installation and restore hot water service. During the work extremely heavy scale/mineral buildup was observed on the hot-water side of the existing system and piping. This application is being submitted retroactively to permit and inspect the completed emergency water-heater replacement work.
